[MBBC] Weekend Project: Make Your Own Coffee Body Scrub

Coffee Scrubs are hot right now!
They really do help your legs look better instantly, plus the effects get better the more consistently you use them. Combine this practice with dry brushing and a detox bath for a DIY spa afternoon!
The caffeine in the coffee does help more blood get to your cellulite and it delivers antioxidants directly to your skin, so there's an instant skin tightening affect that's temporary. The coffee actually does "stain" your skin at little and makes it look tanner and more even in tone. Plus the salt exfoliates and the oil smooths.
You will need:
1 cup of freshly ground coffee beans
6 Tablespoons Coconut or Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Sea Salt
Empty Jar
Essential Oils (Optional)
Dry Brush (Optional)
Make the scrub: Start with fresh coffee beans and not old grounds if you want the maximum caffeine effect. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and put into your jar, very simple!
Tips before making: If using, add the essential oils to the olive or coconut oil before you mix so they are dispersed evenly. If you are sensitive, you can skip the salt as it may scratch your skin. Use enough oil so it binds the grounds together.
Before you scrub: If you choose to dry brush your skin first, do it before getting in the shower and remember to always brush towards your heart.
Start Scrubbing: Take a handful of the coffee scrub while standing in the tub or shower and massage into wet skin, keep rubbing, concentrating on the problem areas, then let it sit on your skin as long as you can, up to 10 minutes. Wash off, remember to keep it away from your eyes and any sensitive areas of skin you have. Wash your tub or shower well because it can discolor them and also be careful because the oil may make the tub slippery.
After you get out: you can apply self tanner and a top layer of coconut oil! Admire your perfectly polished skin!
Soon we'll be talking about detox baths! Watch for it!
